San Angelo Lions Charities

About the Organization

Lions Charities is the central organization for all six (6) Lions Clubs (Concho Pearl, East Angelo, Downtown, Lighthouse, Lady Lions and Southside) in San Angelo. Lions Charities council and board is made up of members from all six (6) clubs and is funded by donations, fundraisers and support from the six (6) clubs. We raise money to help furnish items such as eye exams and glasses, Cycles for Life Program, to purchase equipment to process used glasses and cameras and printers for Vision Screening. The processed glasses are shipped to our main headquarters, TLERC, in Midland to be shipped out for Mission Trips all over the world. Before the pandemic we were helping Missions with the shipment of over 2,000,000 pairs of glasses to countries all over the world. Each Club has their own fundraisers to furnish Christmas or Thanksgiving Food Baskets in the Concho Valley and donate to other non-profits such as Family Shelter, Rust Street Ministry, Food Bank, Project Dignidad, Paws for Life, Keepers of Hope and many others. Each club has their own Facebook page so LOOK FOR NEWS ABOUT US on our Facebook Page "San Angelo Lions Charities Eyeglass Recycle Center". "WE SERVE".
