Established in 2004, San Angelo Christian Academy is a Pre-K through 12th grade school and proud member of the National Christian School Association, accredited since 2010. At SACA, degreed teachers provide academic rigor to classes of no more than twelve students because we believe a good student-to-teacher ratio is essential. That ratio enables students to experience hands-on learning opportunities in our advanced science lab and dedicated robotics room. In our library, students learn through connection with an excellent collection, and tailor their education experience with individual online electives. The academy offers its own chapter of The National Honor Society and proudly collaborates with colleges and universities to provide dual credit classes for high school students. Extracurriculars are an important part of any student's development and that is no different at San Angelo Christian Academy. Diverse team-oriented programs include fine arts, sports, and robotics. Teams and individual student-athletes compete and advance to the state level through the TAPPS organization, most recently in tennis, track, and swim. Theater, art, and music are more ways our students enrich our culture. We also have chapters of Student Council, National Honor Society, TAME, an engineering club and are the charter holder of the Angelo Bluebonnets 4H chapter. It is important for parents to take an active role in education, so San Angelo Christian Academy provides many opportunities for parents to be involved. Our wonderful PTO organization meets each month and provides opportunities and support for the SACA Lions. Building a Christ-centered education community is the top priority. Daily chapel, dedicated bible classes, and including the Christian worldview in every subject and grade level help us achieve that goal. Students learn the Bible and challenge themselves to grow their faith. Every day students lead in chapel with songs, prayer, and devotionals. However, the academy does not just believe in growing faith with our own walls. SACA Lions are spiritually active in our community and abroad as well through visits to nursing homes, Operation Christmas Child, Donate-A-Duffle, and Adopt a Highway. High school students have the opportunity to participate in a mission trip every two years. We are excited about the future for San Angelo Christian Academy and believe you should be too. It is a great time to be a Lion and a great time to support the Lions.
