About the Organization
The Ozona Community Center has been a vital part of the Ozona community since 1938. The center was originally established as an outreach ministry of the Ozona United Methodist Church. The building and grounds are provided for use through the generosity of the Ozona United Methodist Church. The center is governed by a Board of Directors.
As a state-licensed child care facility, the Ozona Community Center provides daycare and preschool programming for children between the ages of birth and 4 years old. In addition, we provide after-school care for K- 5th grade children. Information regarding parenting, health and wellness and at-home educational enhancement opportunities are available to parents and caregivers.
Our program is available to all children in Ozona, regardless of race, creed or religious belief. Program services are designed to provide opportunities for children to grow developmentally so as to be prepared to enter the public education system. The after-school program provides opportunities for children to increase social skills needed in working together to complete an activity or task.
