"My daughter is 8 years old. In her short little life, she’s been through so much trauma and sadness, yet she has the biggest energy, most beautiful smile and an unmeasurable positive outlook on life. She actually hasn’t had her father in her life since she was an infant. I took her to meet him at 2 and at about 5 years old she started crying for him, asking questions about stuff and wanting her daddy. Her father has had an addiction issue for a long time, and it did nothing but get worse. His presence in her life was scarce. In my opinion him being locked up saved his life! And In turn gives hope to a little girl who has nothing but faith he’s going to be good when this is over. They have grown closer over the last couple years with video calls and doing their art together. It’s truly a beautiful thing to see. When she opened her gifts from her daddy and it was actually stuff that fit her so perfectly! She was so happy. I wrapped the gifts separately so after receiving the gifts y'all sent from him her day was beyond filled with happiness and she was proud. I didn’t think programs like this existed. It’s a very depressing, emotional time for everyone involved when a loved one is locked up or living in active addiction. Little things like what this ministry did for our family giving my daughter even more hope and validation. Even allowing her daddy to feel a small bit of peace. We appreciate the work and time everyone put in for everything and can tell the generosity and thoughtfulness that was given."

"This meant a lot to my son because it made him feel that his dad was able to think of him during the holiday. For us as the guardians we were shocked and it took our breath away to know people care enough about the kids of incarcerated people. Most of the time these kids get forgotten. "

"I know it meant a lot to my son to have someone care enough to send gifts to his children when he couldn't. I was really moved by your thoughtfulness and generosity. The children were very excited to receive their gifts and very appreciative. Thank you so much for your gifts of hope, kindness, and love. God bless you all. "

At Through God Comes Justice Ministries, Inc., these stories are not the exception… they are happening every day.

Through God Comes Justice Ministries exists to meet the spiritual needs of inmates, detainees, Sheriff’s Department personnel, and their families. We share hope with the hopeless, forgiveness for sin, and the transforming love of Jesus Christ.

With two chaplains and over 130 volunteers, we bring the Word of God directly into the jail through church services, Bible studies, one on one mentorship, and more. We are not only sharing the Gospel, but we are also helping provide the tools needed for real, lasting life change, strengthening families and building a safer community.

We believe and know it to be true; jail and prison ministry is one of the most urgent mission fields in America today.

Every day, our Chaplains meet with inmates one on one, often within their first 24 hours in jail. Alongside them, our dedicated volunteers visit several times a week, teaching the Bible, leading worship, and creating a place where anyone who wants to attend can experience church.

We also bring in recovery programs such as Celebrate Recovery and AA, walking alongside individuals as they prepare for life beyond incarceration.

We serve in one of the most difficult places, yet our mission is greater than any challenge we face.

Transformation doesn’t happen overnight.
It takes patience, compassion, and consistency.

But we are seeing it happen.

Lives are being changed.
Families are being restored.
Hope is being rebuilt.

Many of those we serve will return to our community,
as neighbors, parents, coworkers, and friends.

Please help us help them.
