San Angelo ISD is committed to building literacy skills that prepare students for future success both inside and outside the classroom. Our teachers are committed to continuing to guide this success by regularly assessing reading levels, providing small group and individualized reading instruction, and implementing high-level interventions when determined to be necessary.

Since launching San Angelo READS!, we've inspired a love of reading and provided books to many students, thanks to our community partners. We're expanding our efforts to include all elementary grades, continue our Summer Book Patrol, and expand our program to involve secondary students. We welcome your support to further enhance literacy in San Angelo.
