We try to help cover the unexpected cost that happens throughout the year; host the beginning year pool party and the end of the year banquet. We hand out four college scholarships totaling $3000 and this year we are giving out scholarships to help kids go to Band Camps during the Summer. We provide snacks and drinks for all of their events. We help with any social event that the band social committee plans (a student ran organization). The children in the Band program appreciate all that the booster parents do but could always use additional help. We additional help this coming up year because our Indoor Percussion Group will be competing at the World Championships in Denton, Ohio.
