About the Organization
The San Angelo Symphony Guild is a volunteer-driven community service organization dedicated to fostering a love for symphonic music in the Concho Valley. Our volunteers host orchestra hospitality luncheons before each San Angelo Symphony performance and provide youth volunteers at concerts. Through community outreach, fundraising, and symphony events, we inspire young musicians and support local youth music programs across the Concho Valley.
Proceeds from our annual Gala primarily benefit the San Angelo Symphony Orchestra. Our 2024 Symphony Beaux and Belles Purpose Project funded violins for Santa Rita Elementary's youth orchestra. In 2023, we provided ukuleles to Fannin and Holiman elementary schools, and in 2022, we gifted a full set of xylophones to Belaire Elementary. Through our Grants and Scholarships Award, we have helped students from Angelo State University, Central High School, and Lakeview High School pursue their musical dreams. Annual scholarships are also provided to the SASG senior ambassadors through the Jennifer Odom Scholarship to recognize their six years of youth service promoting the Guild's mission.
