Dove Creek Volunteer Fire Department
About the Organization
The DCVFD is a non-profit that has been helping to save lives for over 3 decades in southwest Tom Green county.
Today the department has 20 members, 9 vehicles, and 2 stations. We have expanded our coverage area to approximately 300 square miles. Our community is growing and with it the need for the completion of our new station and a new fire engine to place in it. The Dove Creek Volunteer Fire Department is not only the Primary fire protection for the citizens of Dove Creek but also for the town of Knickerbocker and the subdivision's of Ponderosa Estates and Ducote Air Park, Pecan Creek sub division as well as Stone Wall Estates. Not to mention the West Texas Boys Ranch and the area covering San Angelo city limits on 67 South to the Tom Green county line as well as 277 south toward Christoval.
