Inspired and empowered by Christ's love, the First Methodist Church mission team of San Angelo journeys to Costa Rica to serve alongside our brothers and sisters in faith. Through construction and collaboration, we aim to build a lasting sanctuary, strengthen the local community, and share the message of God's grace.
The 20 member mission team will focus their manual construction efforts on the new sanctuary building for Iglesia Metodista in the town of Guapiles, Costa Rica

Through construction and collaboration, we aim to build a lasting sanctuary, strengthen the local community, and share the message of God's grace.
Needs
We travel to Guapiles, Costa Rica each year to continue to construct a new church at Iglesia Metodista. This will be our 6th year on this project. The funds are used for building materials and supplies to complete the construction of the church, travel and lodging for the team, and we also provide bible school for the local children while there. Various fundraisers are held throughout the year along with support from First Methodist Church, San Angelo.
