Club Victoria Inc.

About the Organization

For many years, the Club Victoria (CV) has been involved in public fundraising activities to support the community. A fish fry is conducted yearly for building projects and to provide support for people in the community of Menard. Other fundraising activities include dances, raffles, silent auctions, donations and building rentals. The CV currently rents out its building for weddings, family reunions, birthday parties, and special events to meet operational and expense requirements for building maintenance.

Fundraising activities are coordinated and conducted by the committees and members of the Club Victoria. CV uses the funds to contribute to graduating seniors, Menard Youth Initiative, Boys and Girls Club of Menard, little league teams, educational events, and donations for people in need. The Club Victoria is also used as a place to host funeral meal gatherings for the community.

The Club Victoria serves as a Temporary Non-Congregate Emergency Shelter for the city and county. It also serves as a Temporary Warming and Cooling Center during times of extreme weather.
