The mission of our organization is to offer encouragement and practical assistance to anyone who wants to learn (read, write, speak English, gain computer skills, citizenship, and financial literacy) The Council provides free one-on-one or group tutoring in the areas of interest or need. English as a second language and conversation, high school equivalency (GED), reading and math skills/financial literacy, and citizenship are our most utilized services. Literacy skills gained will enable the adult learner to increase job opportunities, income and encourage future generations, and improve health care, and parenting. Each one.....Teaches one!!! Volunteers make it happen! We are always needing and wanting volunteers. All are welcome. All funds raised will assist with educational materials and operating costs for sustainability.
