San Angelo Hispanic Heritage Museum & Cultural Center

The Hispanic Heritage Committee of San Angelo is dedicated to educating and raising awareness of the Hispanic community’s impact on the past, present, and future. Through events, programs, and community initiatives, we celebrate the culture, history, and accomplishments of our local Hispanic population.

San Angelo has a rich Hispanic heritage that has often gone unrecognized. Our committee was formed to change that by creating opportunities that highlight our community’s contributions, empower future leaders, and preserve our cultural legacy.

We strive to uplift and represent Hispanic voices while promoting unity, pride, and understanding throughout our city. Events like our annual Día de los Muertos celebration provide free, meaningful experiences that bring the community together through culture, education, and tradition.

While we continue to grow, we do not yet have a permanent physical space to call home. Donations through San Angelo Gives will help us move closer to establishing a dedicated location where we can expand our programs, preserve history, and create a lasting cultural center for our community.
