WE INVITE YOU TO SUPPORT THE HOME OF CULTURAL AND PERFORMING ARTS IN SAN ANGELO!

HELP US CELEBRATE 10 YEARS OF LIVE PERFORMANCES!

This year is the 10th Anniversary of the Stephens Performing Arts Center! Home to the Brooks & Bates Theatre and the Black Box Theatre.

San Angelo PAC is the only non-profit performing arts center in the Concho Valley where we aim to provide local, national, and international arts organizations with state-of-the-art facilities; in a way that ensures the success of local arts organizations, enables and encourages quality and diverse programming, and promotes cultural and educational opportunities for all so that we enrich the lives of people who live in our community.

Currently, we collaborate with over 50 arts organizations, schools, non-profits, and artists in San Angelo and the Concho Valley and support 150 events yearly.  We also receive over 35,000 guests throughout the year to our venues annually.

This year, your support will go into equipment that improves our support to local, national, and international arts organizations and artists.  Below is a list of items we plan on purchasing for the upcoming season:

-Upgrade four computers for the Box Office, Development, and Production Staff ($3,000)

-New Epson Powerlite projector for the Murphey Performance Hall ($6,000)

-Updated sound board with Midas M32 Live Digital Console for the Brooks & Bates Theatre ($5,000)

-Upgrade Shure Wireless units for Black Box Theatre ($4,000)

-Upgrade Murphey Performance Hall Lighting with High End Systems Ministar x 2 ($6,800)

-Support Performing Arts Education in the Concho Valley ($5,000)

-Support Downtown Movie Night with KCSA ($1,200)

Your support also allows us to continue supporting Arts Education in the Concho Valley!

Our goal is to raise ($5,000) to bring arts education to local schools. In the past three years we have succeeded in bringing American Traditional Jazz, Modern Orchestra, mariachi, and poetry workshops to the classroom to inspire the next generation of young artists.  Anything above $5,000 will be used to help us keep rent affordable for schools so that students may perform on a professional stage before going to college.

Testimonials

"I had an excellent experience working with SAPAC to produce my musical Red, White & Blue for You as a community fundraiser. Everything was exemplary! From the auditions, rehearsals, choreography, lights, sound, set creation and staging through the ticketing and sponsorship process. San Angelo is lucky to have such a versatile facility with such an outstanding staff. They made my vision of my parents' World War II experience come to life!"- Dr. Linda Thorsen Bond, Playwright.

"We love what the staff at SAPAC are doing to help the arts in our community!"  --Sarah, attending Green Apple Music Series

"The staff at SAPAC are excellent to work with and the audience in San Angelo is amazing!  We look forward to our next performance here!"  Kiss Alive the Tribute

"Never did I imagine, that the quality of shows brought to our community, and the quality of local groups performing in the PAC and the Murphey Auditorium, would be so excellent and amazing!  - Shelley, former SAPAC Board Member

"My husband and I went to the 10pm Rocky Horror Picture Show on Halloween night. It was an absolute blast. Would absolutely go again."--Ashley
