About the Organization
CVAPS shall attempt to educate the community about Adult Protective Services and the proper care of aged and disabled adults. Further, by remaining sensitive to the needs of the community, the board makes appropriate recommendations for the improvement of adult services within the region it serves. The primary goal of this board is to assist the Adult Protective Services Program of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services ("APS") with the needs of the surrounding community. This board stays abreast of the activities, operations, and structures of APS and the activities in the communities and areas in which it operates. APS Partners Board cooperates with other agencies and organizations to ensure that the goals of APS are met. APS Board does these things by providing financial support for clients who have a financial need that is not normally encompassed by State funding.
