Mustard Seed Pantry

Mustard Seed Pantry is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that has existed since 2015 to tangibly show Christ's love to the greater San Angelo community by giving food, time, encouragement, and prayer to all in need.

Currently, we are distributing food to over 2200 individuals per month. The recent economic situation has created such a need in our community that we serve around 210 families/week with boxes of food. We are mainly a weekly drive-through pantry,but do serve those without transportion and in urgent situations, we will deliver.   Although we are a separate entity, Lakeview Bible Church graciously donates their space for our pantry to use (and their pastors and congregation help serve too!).  Located at 4825 Grape Creek Rd and serving every Wednesday afternoon (no matter the weather!), we distribute boxes of fresh produce, meat, eggs, dairy, baked items, bread, shelf-stable foods, and other essentials. We have been blessed with gracious donors and support agencies, like you, who have been instrumental in our efforts to continue to provide help where we can, not just with food, but also with smiles, prayers, and emotional support. Each person we encounter is created in the image of Christ and we endeavor to know our patrons by name and take the time to listen to them while serving them as efficiently as possible. We have a pastor who volunteers and prays with our patrons each week.  Our all-volunteer organization is growing. Two years ago, we had 6 regular volunteers. Now we have over 30 people who give their time weekly. We are, with God's provision, "The Little Pantry that Could" (Matthew 17:20)

I have been volunteering at the Mustard Seed Pantry for a little while now on Tuesdays (opportunities Mondays-Wednesdays) and it has been such a blessing to me.  I see so much heart and hard workers.  It is like my second family. W e unload from trucks, pack and give away 200ish boxes a week.  I see love and giving and laughing and most of all I see Jesus working through everyone.  It is a wonderful community ministry outreach.  I am so tired after one day of work, but it feels great if that makes sense.  I'm thankful to be a part of it.  -Sandy G. 

Mustard Seed Pantry has an amazing group of people that come together each week to serve our neighbors! I have been volunteering for about a year and a half now and love the friendships I have made at the pantry.  We work hard each week to put together 200+ boxes of food for those in need.  I have developed many friendships while serving others.  We work, laugh and share with each other, and Lake View Bible Church is so very gracious to the pantry as they host the pantry and help us minister to others!  Please help Mustard Seed Pantry continue to help others by donating to Mustard Seed Pantry.  God Bless!   -Sherry H.
