Congregation Beth Israel is San Angelo's only traditional Jewish congregation, and the only Jewish synagogue in a 90-mile radius. We are honored to keep the traditions of the Jewish community alive in West Texas, and share our faith with San Angelo and its surrounding communities. As a small congregation, we struggle to keep up with the needs for our nearly 100-year-old building. We are asking for the generosity from our community to help make needed repairs and hopefully get us closer to our dream of installing a stair elevator. Many of our congregants and visitors with physical challenges are unable to climb the stairs to the second floor need to participate in our services.
