The Mission of Christ the King Retreat Center is to proclaim Christ to all in an environment which offers hospitality and fosters human growth and authentic spirituality. Rational: Christ the King Retreat Center, sponsored by the Catholic Diocese of San Angelo, welcomes all people of good will. Through retreats, prayer experiences and other programs, people can find rest and renewal, refresh the mind, restore the spirit, and rejuvenate the body.

Retreatants experience personal and communal growth and go forth to better live and share their faith, giving witness to the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

This Center is a "True Spiritual Oasis". The grounds are peaceful and serene, truly a unique setting.

Christ the King Retreat Center is located on the southeast side of San Angelo, on 19 acres that border the Concho River. The facility consists of 51 guest rooms, a chapel, library, conference rooms, a dining room and kitchen. We offer a scenic walking path along the Concho River with ideal areas for quiet prayer and reflection.
Gazebo, Stations of the Cross, Christian Fish Symbol Fire Pit, Mary's Prayer Grotto, Tom Berscheidt Memorial Fountain, Sacred Heart Statue, St. Joseph with Child Jesus Statue and picnic benches along the pathway.
