Founded in 1885, just 18 years after the city itself, ACT has endured world wars, economic recessions, and global pandemics, continuing to bring people together through the power of live theatre. As the oldest community theatre in Texas and the only one in San Angelo, ACT provides a unique space where local talent shines. Every production is created by people from the Concho Valley for the Concho Valley. ACT offers opportunities for artists, volunteers, and audiences alike to connect, learn, and be inspired.
