At AccessAbility First Foundation, our mission is to provide support, resources, and services that empower these families to navigate the challenges they face and to ensure that their children have access to the best possible care and opportunities. We believe that every child, regardless of ability, deserves to live a fulfilling life, and we are committed to making that a reality for the families we serve. Through our programs and partnerships, we aim to create a more inclusive and supportive community for all families affected by disability.
AccessAbility First Foundation has made a profound impact in our community by empowering families of children with disabilities and special needs. Through tailored support programs, educational initiatives, and advocacy, we've enabled these families to overcome challenges, access essential resources, and create brighter futures. Our work has fostered a more inclusive environment, ensuring that every family feels supported, valued, and equipped to thrive.
Our Medical Supply Closet has provided over $20,000 in life-changing medical equipment to families—completely free of charge. When insurance fails to cover essential needs, we step in. Through our financial assistance program, we have funded more than $45,000 in adaptive equipment, giving children access to tools that support independence, mobility, and quality of life.
But our impact goes beyond equipment.
Through inclusive events and support groups, we have served over 150 families, creating safe spaces where children can build friendships, feel accepted, and experience moments that many families often take for granted.

Mission
The mission of AccessAbility First Foundation is to remove barriers and create opportunities for children with disabilities and their families by providing adaptive equipment, inclusive experiences, and meaningful community support.
Needs
As AccessAbility First Foundation continues to grow, the need for resources supporting families raising children with disabilities across the Concho Valley continues to increase.
Financial donations allow us to expand our Adaptive Medical Equipment Closet, providing life-changing equipment such as wheelchairs, supportive seating, walkers, and therapy tools to families who cannot access what they need through insurance.
Community support also helps us host inclusive events and programs where children of all abilities can participate, connect, and experience the joy of belonging.
Looking ahead, AccessAbility First Foundation is working toward a long-term vision of creating a fully accessible indoor playground and activity center in San Angelo — a space designed so children of all abilities can play, learn, and build friendships together. This space will provide sensory-friendly, adaptive recreation opportunities that currently do not exist in our region.
With the support of our community, we can continue meeting immediate needs while building a more inclusive future for families across the Concho Valley.
