Informed voters elect better leaders. What Is On My Ballot's mission is to empower the American electorate with the knowledge they need to vote.

What Is On My Ballot, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, nonpartisan advocacy organization based in San Angelo, Texas, working to improve voter education in the United States. Our goal is to help provide election information to voters across the country in an accessible manner!

In May 2025, we conducted interviews and questionnaires with all major candidates running for Mayor and City Council in the San Angelo mayoral elections! We compiled this information into a brochure on our website, and it received positive media coverage from FOX West Texas, KLST/KSAN, and San Angelo Live. It was additionally endorsed by the Tom Green County Election Administrator Ms. Vona Hudson, and featured on the official County Elections website! Our project contributed to the number of voters nearly doubling in the 2025 election compared to 2021.

In November 2025, we published our simplified descriptions of all 17 Texas State Constitutional Amendment Propositions on the ballot before the election that month, and concurrently released a web app that became a Congressional App Challenge Finalist! This app got coverage from San Angelo Live! as well.

Our team currently spans four states (Texas, Florida, Pennsylvania, Illinois), and we are planning on publishing election information to help guide voters like YOU through the 2026 midterm elections.
