Testimonials

From the very beginning, we have felt with all our hearts the warmth and care that the school has provided to our children, in addition to exceptional academic learning! Not only have our children made lifelong friendships, but as a parent and active member of the PTO, I have met some of my very best friends and have formed meaningful relationships with parents and teachers alike. From KDO to PreK, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and spring programs, Halloween extravaganzas, and the cutest little rodeo in town, Sierra Vista has provided the sweetest experiences for our children and a loving environment to learn and grow in. Sierra Vista is our family and home!     Brittany & Tony Montgomery, Hazel, Harlan, Goldie & Lane

Sierra Vista CDC has been a blessing to our family. We feel confident our 17-month-old son is in a safe, nurturing, faith-filled environment where he receives genuine love and attention. We’ve seen wonderful growth in his social, emotional, and communication skills, and he’s learning to share, follow routines, and express himself more. He’s excited to go each day and happily reaches for his teachers, which speaks volumes about the care he receives. We’re incredibly grateful for the positive impact the staff has had on our son and our entire Tidwell Family.

“Let your light shine before others…” (Matthew 5:16) became especially meaningful to us when our son shared it one evening—a moment that filled us with gratitude. Hearing our kids share scripture and lead prayer on their own is truly special. Sierra Vista Child Development Center is more than childcare—it’s a place that nurtures faith, values, learning, and love. For four years, from Pre-K through 1st grade, our children have grown in a warm, supportive environment that has given us confidence and peace of mind as parents. Before starting our family, we hoped to find a church community where our children would feel loved and grow in their faith. Investing in the school during its capital campaign was one of the best decisions we’ve made—it’s now directly benefiting our children’s education and development. In a world full of uncertainties, we’ve never doubted the love and guidance our children receive here. We’re grateful for our church family and Sierra Vista CDC, and we give glory to God for leading us here.  Wesley and Rachel Doss

My three children have attended Sierra Vista for four years, beginning with the Mother's Day Out program, which served as an excellent introduction to preschool. They then moved on to successfully complete kindergarten and first grade within the elementary program. The school's impact on our family has been significant. The teachers' expertise and commitment to fostering a nurturing environment have been invaluable. By understanding child development, the staff has provided our children with a strong foundation, resulting in increased confidence and an enduring enthusiasm for learning.  Marissa & Justin Gregory & Family

“Every parent knows that it really does take a village, especially when raising good, strong, Christ loving children. My family was fortunate to find a village at Sierra Vista CDC. From the moment my children first walked through the doors of Sierra Vista, they have been loved, supported, and encouraged by each and every staff member who knows not only their names, but also their hearts. Sierra Vista is not just a school, it’s a sanctuary. A sanctuary in which the magic of childhood is preserved and protected, where the art of learning is revered, and where the sound of laughter echo's throughout the halls. More importantly though, it’s a place where God is glorified in every moment, no matter how big or small. The love that has been poured into my children is something that they will carry with them for the rest of their lives and one day they will understand what a blessing it was for them to attend Sierra Vista CDC.”                Forever Grateful Genna Johnsons

Sierra Vista has been such a blessing to our family over the past five years. Every classroom, teacher, and staff member has played a role in shaping our son Gus into who he is today. The curriculum is excellent, but what truly sets this school apart are the strong Christian values they consistently model and instill in him. We’ve seen incredible growth in Gus, academically, socially, and spiritually, and we are so grateful to be part of such a special, loving community.  Love, Whitney Hilton

Our daughter has attended Sierra Vista CDC for three years. The school and staff have blessed our family since the first time we walked through the doors. . The staff and teachers have created an environment where the kids are loved, cared for, and are nurtured academically, spiritually, and emotionally. She loves her teachers, friends, chapel, the programs and gets so excited to confidently teach us lessons, Bible Stories, and praise songs each week. We are forever Grateful for the Blessings Sierra Vista has been to our family. Whitney Cross

Mission

Sierra Vista Child Development Center Quality Education in a Christian Environment

As A Ministry of Sierra Vista United Methodist Church, Our mission is to offer a loving Christian education to the children of our community. Sierra vista Child Development Center recognizes each student as a child of God and believes in allowing children to explore, create and develop the necessary skills to learn and grow in a Christian environment. We encourage spiritual development and prepare children for academic success through the ministry of the CDC, our curriculum and educational philosophy. We believe children benefit from hearing about God's love and becoming the hands and feet of Christ.

TESTIMONIAL:

We have had the privilege of our three little ones attending Sierra Vista. The staff is patient, kind, and knowledgeable. As a mom, I have peace of mind knowing my children are being well taken care of by staff who truly care about my family. My youngest started attending at 6 months (now 2 years old), and my girls have been attending for the last 3 years and will be starting kindergarten in the fall. We have seen growth in different areas with our kids from becoming more independent, knowledgeable, friendships, faith, and much more. If you're looking for a place for your children to grow/ learn in a safe environment where staff cares for your little one, Sierra Vista is an amazing place to consider.
