Rodney Floyd Special Needs Childrens Fund

A nonprofit organization

Created by friends of Rodney Floyd to honor him and to recognize the compassion and love that he had for children by providing assistance to organizations which help special needs children, including Children's Advocacy Center of Tom Green County, SVUMC Children's Bed Project in San Angelo, Texas Lions Camp in Kerrville, and Ronald McDonald House in Houston. Rodney passed away in January 2024, but his loving spirit for family, friends, and especially children continues on!

In just the last eight years since the fund was created by his friends to honor Rodney, over $28,000 has been given from Rodney's fund to charities focused on children. The amount given each year continues to grow as Rodney's endowment grows. Because Rodney had such a compassionate heart, especially for children with disadvantages or special needs, these charities were chosen. So when contributions are made to the Rodney Floyd Special Needs Childrens Fund, more can be given to these charities through Rodney's endowed fund and Rodney can be remembered for his compassionate heart and the love that he demonstrated over the years for children in so many ways. Take a moment to look up each of these charities and you'll be touched by their special missions to love children. We miss you Rodney, but we thank you for the example that you left for all of us to follow in how to love God's little ones!
