Our Hermitage exists under the umbrella of the Catholic Church, however, we are not financially supported by any organization of the Catholic Church nor the Diocese of San Angelo. We make our living by making and selling specialty breads, jellies, fudge and other bakery items. Donations are greatly appreciated, as they help us towards our present building project--the construction of our new Chapel. The Chapel will welcome visitors to experience the beauty of God, as they listen to the traditional chants of the monks as have been prayed for over a thousand years. Monks like ourselves transform the world by continually repenting and turning towards God, and providing prayer and encouragement for others to do the same. We pray daily for the many intentions recommended to us, especially for those who support us, even if only by their prayers or the "widow's mite." May God reward you for helping us, as Jesus says: "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of Mine, you did for Me" (Mt. 25:40).
