Ballinger Carnegie Library
This library is one of the only 4 in Texas that still serves as a public library. It is designated as a Texas historical Site and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Community events are held in the upstairs auditorium and also in our Shakespeare room downstairs. This past summer many children came to the programs presented by the library during the summer reading program.

Bluebonnet CASA provides and supports trained community Guardian Ad Litem Volunteers to advocate for the best interest of abused and neglected children involved in the court system, and to facilitate placement of these children in safe, loving, permanent homes as quickly as possible, honoring the child's sense of time.

Boy Scouts of America, Texas Southwest Council
The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them values of the Scout Oath and Law. The mission is achieved through service to youth by association with concerned, caring adults within the community who help provide character-based values and ethical decision making skills. The Boy Scouts of America provides character based programming to all youth in our 24 communities.
