This little corner of the world means so much to me – I didn't think I'd find a soft place to land after leaving Angelo Civic Theatre. I was afraid I wouldn't love anywhere quite as much or be quite as passionate as what I do. The Clubhouse has an incredible model that actually *works* and I'm so honored to have any part in it. Getting the opportunity to learn more about Clubhouses around the world is so beautiful – how lucky am I to get to be here and watch people around me grow and blossom and get just a little better every day? The littlest donation to the Clubhouse will help us so much. We are volunteer-based, and every dollar from grants and donors goes to things like socials (I teach watercolor!! We need better watercolor paper!!!), meals (the members make fresh lunch every day!!), and pet food (we feed stray cats, duckies at the river, and our goldfish every day!!!). Help us keep our doors open. <3
