Critter Shack Rescue offers low-cost spay/neuter to area community cat caretakers. Appointments for spay/neuter/vaccinations available weekly. Colony caretakers and those helping their neighborhood cats work with Critter Shack to reduce and stabilize cat populations. Critter Shack Rescue also offers TNR (trap-neuter-return) workshops helping local citizens become part of the solution. TNR is the only effective, humane and proven method to reduce the number of unwanted kittens and cats.

Critter Shack is a 501(c)3 nonprofit animal welfare organization whose mission is to advocate for humane treatment of animals, to provide an adoption program for rescue dogs and cats, to offer public education in animal welfare, and to offer a low cost spay/neuter program in the Concho Valley. The rescue program pays no salaries; all work is done by volunteers, ensuring that all funds donated benefit the rescue animals.
