Christoval Community Fund

The Christoval Community Fund supports volunteer-driven efforts to revitalize Christoval. Previous efforts have included art projects for youth, improvements to Main Street, support of local business development and park beautification. To unleash the potential of the Christoval community, the Fund is now focused on improvements to City Park on Main Street, strategically located to enhance available family- and community-public space.

Our goal is to provide a wider range of recreational and community-gathering opportunities. Improvements envisioned for City Park include:

- pavilions, one for private family parties and another functioning as a bandstand with space for open-air seating and dancing,
- gazebos with picnic tables and BBQ grills,
- playscapes for all ages and abilities,
- shaded walking trail,
- vendor spaces for outdoor festivals,
- green space for soccer and games,
- permanent restrooms,
- drinking fountains, mister and more.

This project builds upon City Park's rich history as a community gathering place and the importance of public, shared space. We realize in this difficult time many people are unable to donate, but if you can, we thank you in advance for considering us and for helping build a future where we can once again enjoy the opportunity to gather as families and as a community.

"Christoval is experiencing a revival, driven by committed volunteers. Being an "unincorporated" community requires that citizens source improvements on their own, absent of funds nor city services often available in cities.

As part of the revival, a vision exists to sculpt City Park into a jewel...one for all ages and abilities to enjoy.
