Who We Are
For more than 40 years, Concho Valley Regional Food Bank has served as a trusted neighbor in the fight against hunger.
Today, we are proud to be your independent local food bank—deeply rooted in the Concho Valley and committed to responding to local needs with flexibility, dignity, and compassion. When hunger shows up in our community, we work to meet it with practical, people-first solutions.
We believe food insecurity is about more than an empty plate. It can reflect deeper barriers like transportation, access, family stress, or unexpected hardship. That’s why we focus not just on food distributed, but on neighbors served, families supported, and hope restored.
Your gift helps us support over 100 food distribution and feeding sites, provide weekly food bags for children, offer emergency food assistance, deliver food to neighbors with transportation barriers, host mobile distributions in high-need areas, and strengthen rural pantry access across our region.
Heart of the Valley Story
In the early hours of July 4, 2025, families across the Concho Valley woke up to rising water in their homes. In a moment of fear and uncertainty, Concho Valley Regional Food Bank moved quickly—packing emergency food kits and getting essential items to neighbors affected by the flooding.
But for us, the response did not end after the water receded.
In the weeks that followed, our team continued showing up for families who had been displaced and placed in local motels while they waited for repairs or safer housing. One of those families was preparing to welcome a new baby.
While they lived in that motel, we continued providing food to help carry them through an already overwhelming season. Then, shortly after the baby was born, the family was able to move into a safe, stable home.
When they arrived, CVRFB was there again.
We provided food for their new home—making sure the very first food in that house was already waiting for them.
This is what community looks like: one family at a time, one essential at a time!
To feed our neighbors by removing barriers, meeting people where they are, and providing meaningful, people-first solutions that fight hunger across the Concho Valley.
