Baptist Retirement Community is all about inspiring happiness... and we've been serving senior adults in the Concho Valley area for more than 70 years! We are a nonprofit community that inspires happiness among senior adults 62 and older who want lots of living options to fit their lifestyle.
We are the only continuing care retirement community in the Concho Valley area. Residents have peace of mind knowing that as their lifestyle needs change, we have services to meet their needs including independent living, memory care assisted living, long-term care, memory care, personal assistance services and outpatient therapy. More than 350 residents call BRC their home, and our compassionate, professional staff strive to make each resident comfortable while providing social, spiritual, educational and recreational activities to keep them engaged and enjoying their independence.
On San Angelo Gives, you can be a part of inspiring happiness. You give extra support and care to seniors in San Angelo through memory care, physical therapy services, and a loving community of caregivers. We are so grateful for your partnership with us for San Angelo Gives!
Pat and Tony:
After flooding in San Angelo damaged Tony and his wife Pat’s home, they turned to Baptist Retirement Community. What they thought would a short-term stay while they repaired their house, turned into a life changing decision.
Friendly faces of staff and residents made them feel welcomed and safe when they needed it most. As the weeks passed, Tony and Pat realized life at the Baptist Retirement Community carried less stress and fewer burdens. When they factored in the costs of maintaining their paid‑off house with insurance, taxes, and ongoing expenses, they found it was actually more affordable to remain living at the Baptist Retirement Community.
Yet in the end, the decision to stay was more than practical. Tony and his wife chose to stay because it felt like the right environment in their season of life. As Tony puts it, living at the Baptist Retirement Community allows them to “spend time doing things of more value for our lives and other people's lives,” and they find it “more productive than working on the house or mowing the lawn.”
