Teenagers in San Angelo are searching desperately for belonging and purpose. Many of them are navigating high school hallways looking for proof that they matter to someone. Others are young moms carrying a weight that was never meant to be carried alone, and wondering if anyone sees them beyond their circumstances.

When you give to San Angelo Young Life, you put caring adults directly into the lives of kids who need them most.
Our Mission: Introducing adolescents to Jesus Christ and helping them grow in their faith.
Our Method: GO. INVITE. LOVE
We train up volunteer leaders to GO into the lives of students, meeting them in their world and on their turf instead of waiting for them to come to us. We INVITE them into fun and adventure, but ultimately into a relationship with Jesus. Then we LOVE them and continue walking alongside them regardless of their response to the Gospel.
Young Life currently has 2 programs in the Concho Valley Area: High School & Teen Moms.
- YOUNG LIFE is not only the name of the parent organization, it is also the name of our high school program. Our main presence is at Central High School, but students from all surrounding schools are invited to join us!
- YOUNGLIVES is the name of our teen moms program that not only reaches the moms but their babies as well! There are local teen moms who are desperate for love to walk into their lives. We are reaching out to young women who have never experienced the love of Christ. We come alongside to help them discover who they were created to be.
But none of it is possible without people like you! Every dollar you give is a dollar that helps a teenager in San Angelo know they are seen, loved, and not alone.

HOW YOUR GIVING DIRECTLY IMPACTS THE MINISTRY!
Student Staff:
One of the greatest needs in our Young Life ministry right now is hiring student staff — college-age leaders who are close in age to the teens we serve and can show up consistently to build real relationships on school campuses. These aren't just volunteers; they're a vital part of how we reach kids who might never walk into a church on their own.
Student staff often raise a portion of their own support to join the team, but we come alongside them to help make it possible. It costs around $6,000 a year to have a student staff on our team, and the return on that investment is immeasurable. Your gift directly helps put the right people in front of San Angelo teens at exactly the right time in their lives.
YoungLives Camp Scholarships:
Camp is one of the most transformative experiences we offer, and for the teen moms in our YoungLives program, it can be truly life-changing. Many of these girls have never had the chance to get away, slow down, and just be a kid. A week at Young Life camp gives them exactly that: community, fun, and the space to hear that they are deeply loved and valued.
This summer, we're hoping to take 3 girls to camp, and your gift can make that happen. It costs $650 to fully scholarship a spot, meaning your donation directly puts a teen mom on a bus to one of the best weeks of her life.
Club:
Every week, Young Life & YoungLives club is where the magic happens. A room full of high schoolers or teen moms laughing, playing ridiculous games, and hearing that they matter to Jesus. It sounds simple, but it's often the first place a kid feels truly seen. Running club well takes resources like food, supplies, and all the little things that make it feel like a place worth showing up to. Your gift helps keep our doors open and our tables full every single week.
Contact Work:
Before a kid ever shows up to club or considers going to camp, someone showed up for them first. At a football game, in a school lunchroom, over a cup of coffee. That's contact work, and it's the foundation everything else is built on. It's also not free. Gas, meals, activity tickets — the small costs add up quickly when you're committed to being present in a teenager's life. Your gift funds the everyday moments that make the biggest difference.
