Santa Rita's PTO (Parent-Teacher Organization) mission is to be the bridge between families and the school. We are here to support students, help teachers, and build a strong school community. Here is a little bit of what we do:

1. Fundraising. We organize events and campaigns to raise money for things the school budget doesn't fully cover.

-School supplies, classroom extras, and technology

-Playground equipment or campus improvements

-Field trips and special programs

2. Supporting Teachers & Staff. We want the teachers to feel backed up and appreciated.

-Provide classroom supplies

-Host appreciation lunches, snacks, or events

-Help with classroom needs or special projects

3. Planning School Events. We want to create the "fun" and community vibe at school.

-Family Nights (STEM night, literacy night, Art week)

-Holiday events or festivals

-PTO mixers

-Book Fairs and school assemblies

4. Communication Hub. Help to keep families in the loop.

-Sharing school updates and event info.

-Posting on social media

-Helping parents know how to get involved

5. Advocacy and School Support

-Share parent feedback with school leadership

-Support school goals and initiatives

-Help identify needs within the school community

6. Community Building. Probably the most "underrated" but HUGE piece.

-Bringing families, teachers, and staff together

-Creating a welcoming, inclusive school culture

-Helping new and existing families feel connected

At our core, we exist to make the school experience better for kids while supporting the people who make the school run every single day.
