We are a rescue that takes in injured and orphaned wildlife to care for and rehabilitate. We also provide rescue for reptiles and small mammals such as ferrets, guinea pigs, and hamsters. While doing all this we strive to reopen a nature center to the general public. Offering volunteering options, jobs, and education for kids in our communities. Our education program is the biggest program we have, offering free presentations for all schools along with other facilities that are government operated or privately owned. We do mentorship programs for our younger generations to come in and learn these animals hands on, this can help kids with mental health issues as well as bring them into a community not found elsewhere.
Our mission is to be a back bone for our local wildlife and its education in our communities. We strive to provide a safe and exciting place for kids and adults to learn alike. We hope to bring the community together in an effort to protect out texas natives and their ecosystem. We will continue to provide opportunities and education to the people of san angelo and surrounding communities. With the help of others and donations we hope to widen out programs and add. To be able to open fully to the public once more with the support of the city and its residents.
